"Sick Fascination" with dogs?

Peekaboo!

Normal vs.

In defense of us non-normal people, not everyone sits and watches the whole movie. Sometimes it's the comfort of listening to the movie while you are doing something else. You can always watch when the great scenes come up!
Why do people listen to the same song more than once? What's up with that? You've already heard it. It's not going to change. Hmmm...

American Splendor

Harvey: "Man, they got a lot of meat on this menu."
Joyce: "You're a vegetarian?"
"Kinda, you know. I mean, ever since I got a pet cat, you know, I've had a lot of trouble eating animals."
"Hm."
sigh
"I support and identify with groups like PETA, but unfortunately I'm a self-diagnosed anemic."
"Uh huh."
"Also, I have all these food allergies to vegatables which give me serious intestinal distress. I guess I have a lot of borderline health disorders which limit me politically when it comes to eating."

Movies I watched

While Mrs. Beisbolfan was away to the Grapefruit League Spring Training at Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Florida, these are the movies I watched while I was 'cleaning' the house.

some of my favorite quotes

"What's that watermelon doing there?" (ans: "I'll tell you later." They never do)

"Work Work Work... "

"Pinky Caruthers, Blue Blazer Regular. Sorry John, everybody needs see Buckaroo. Later!"

"Lithium is no longer available on credit."

(after John Emdall explains in a hologram that they will force the Earthlings to destroy themselves) Rawhide says "If it ain't one thing, it's another" Aforementioned Pinky Caruthers pats Rawhide and gestures, "Take is easy"

"There are monkey-boys in the facility."

trivia: Which John do we see twice, but are different people (actors)?
$5 to the first one to correctly answer this

"Big Bootaay!"

"They're only monkey-boys. We can trust them... "

"Declaration of War. The short form."

Family Guy

Lois Griffin is reading a note from Peter explaining why he isn't in the hotel room.

Lois-
Was watching rerun
of "Three's Company."
Laughed so hard,
pooped in pants.
Went to find all-night
cleaners or pants store.

Charp Chihuahua

This is a cool looking dog, isn't it?

Out of Touch

The other day, my cell phone wasn't charged so I opted to just leave it home. Mrs. Beisbolfan asked if I wanted to borrow the car charger. I said that I didn't want to because I had heard that the rapid charge nature of a car charger would quickly destroy the phone's battery. This phone's battery is pretty good and I didn't want to risk it. Mrs. B. then asked if I wanted to borrow her phone. Again, no thanks.
As I was driving down the road, I suddenly felt weird, like I was not dressed, or like I was without a seatbelt, or without the car's body...just racing down the road with the steering wheel and four tires. It was a strange feeling. Hard to describe. Even when I have my phone, I never hear it ring, but I do hear it when I get a new (annoyed) message.
How did we get to this point? We can't be out of touch for 2 hours?
